Hi, I’m Kari (she/her).

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my wife, our daughter, and two chugs. I do this work because I’ve lived through moments where, from the outside, life looked steady—and inside, something deeper was asking for attention.

Over time, I’ve learned that many of us reach these moments not because something is “wrong,” but because we’ve outgrown old narratives, roles, or ways of being that once kept us safe. Many of the patterns I had to unlearn weren't personal failures — they were survival adaptations. Strategies I inherited from a world that had very specific ideas about who I should be and how I should take up space. I suspect you know something about that too. My work is about slowing down enough to listen to what’s asking to emerge—without rushing to fix or reframe it.

For over 15 years, I have built a career in People & Culture, leading teams and supporting people in complex, high‑performance environments, particularly in tech. What has mattered most to me in this work isn’t performance alone—it is trust, clarity, and how people experience themselves as leaders and humans.

My approach is also shaped by lived experience. I lost my father early in life, navigated challenges around trust and identity, and began a recovery journey in 2007 that fundamentally changed how I relate to myself and others. That path led me into years of deep inner work—through trauma‑informed therapy, somatic experiencing, meditation, mindfulness, astrology, and spiritual practice. Training in Jungian‑based coaching helped me integrate these experiences into how I now show up with others.

Today, I work with people who often appear capable and together on the outside, yet feel a growing internal disconnect. They may be questioning their direction, re‑evaluating how they lead, or sensing that the way forward requires more honesty and alignment than they’ve allowed themselves before.

My role isn’t to diagnose, fix, or perform expertise. It’s to listen deeply, to notice what’s often unspoken, and to help create a grounded space where grief, uncertainty, identity shifts, and truth can be held without judgment.

This isn’t therapy, and it’s not surface‑level coaching. It’s a deeper, in‑between space—for people who are ready to understand themselves more fully and move forward in a way that feels true. We can absolutely talk about practical goals; often, that work opens into something more meaningful than expected.

If something deeper is asking for your attention—and you’re willing to meet it honestly—I’d be honored to work together.
